DriveVolt – Privacy Policy

DriveVolt ("the app") is an EV charging and trip tracking application. This policy explains what data the app handles, how it is used, and your choices. We do not operate our own server or user database. Your data stays on your device, and — only if you choose to sign in — is synced to your own Google Drive.

Data we handle

• Account information (only if you sign in). Sign-in with Google is optional. If you use it, the app receives your Google account email and basic profile solely to authenticate you and to access your own Google Drive. We do not send this information to any server of ours — we do not have one.
• App data you enter. Charging records, expenses, vehicle details, and trip logs you create are stored on your device. If you sign in, this data is synced to a private, app-specific folder in your own Google Drive, using Google's drive.file scope — meaning the app can only see the files it created and cannot access the rest of your Drive. The developer cannot read your data.
• Location data. With your permission, the app reads your device's GPS position only while you are recording a trip with the Trip Energy Tracker. To keep tracking while the screen is off or the app is in the background, it runs a foreground service with a visible ongoing notification; this requires only "while using the app" location permission. Location is used only to compute trip distance, speed, and energy statistics, is processed on your device, and tracking stops when you end the trip. The app does not use "all the time" background location.
• Photos. If you attach a photo (e.g. a vehicle image), only the image you explicitly pick is stored with your app data. The app does not access your photo library beyond the images you select.

Advertising

DriveVolt may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. When ads are enabled, Google's AdMob SDK may collect and use your device's advertising ID — a resettable identifier — to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where you allow it. This is the only case in which any data is shared with a third party. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad personalization, in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Data we do NOT collect

• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, other than the advertising described above.
• No developer-operated server or database — we never receive a copy of your data.
• No contacts, call logs, SMS, or files outside what you explicitly pick.
• We do not sell your personal data. Aside from the advertising identifier used by Google AdMob (described above), we do not share your data with third parties.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored locally on your device. If you sign in, it is also synced to your own Google Drive account (operated by Google LLC, under your control). The app uses only the app-scoped drive.file access, so it manages just the files it creates on your behalf. See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google handles data in your Drive.

Notifications

The app can show local reminders (e.g. daily charge-logging reminders) and an ongoing notification while trip tracking is active. These are generated on your device; no notification data leaves your device.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept as long as you keep it. You can delete individual records in the app at any time. Because we have no server, there is no account on our side to delete: to remove synced data, delete it in the app or remove the app's files from your Google Drive. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

โฆษณา

ที่เก็บข้อมูล
